Nuclear Engineering, Bachelor of Science ,

Growing up in a small town in Colorado inspired me to go to college and obtain a graduate degree from a major university. I achieved that goal when I completed my Master’s work, with honors, at a top five ranked college of Social Work.
For decades thereafter, I had the pleasure of contributing in public and private child welfare agencies where I helped both children and families.
I have many years of state experience, trauma informed therapy in hospital settings, I was a manager with Casey Family Programs and have had the great privilege of working as an adjunct professor at the University of Washington, School of Social Work.
Armed with experience, a drive to help others, and a fierce commitment to integrity, I opened my private practice in Boise, Idaho where I provide psychotherapy services. In my free time, I enjoy visiting family, Yoga, traveling, playing with my dogs and outdoor activities. Additionally, I serve on a Board of Directors for a private, mental health agency.
My areas of practice include:
Depression, Anxiety, grief/loss, Adjustment Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, relationship stressors and sleep disorders. I partner with teens, adults, and couples to improve over-all well-being.
... is a native of the northwest and appreciates all that is outdoors.
I started my career in the armed forces and a veteran of our fast attack fleet. Honing my management skills further in the nation’s science and weapons complex at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), this taught Brian the fundamentals of remaining principal-based in decisions and practicing results-oriented process improvement along with time-management.
Operating Nuclear reactors, particle accelerators, and many other types of facilities for the nation’s defense ushered the considerable experience Brian brings in operations management.
While an engineer by training and in practice, I felt a deep calling for more and became involved with helping in his community.I became particularly enamored with assisting elderly and developmentally challenged individuals. Volunteering for over a decade, Brian learned much about himself; helping others was his calling.
Following his dreams; Brian forsook the engineering discipline (to the great surprise of his colleagues, but not his friends) and began helping others full time. The belief that life is about relationships is reflected in our motto: “Together We Grow,” and is genesis for the “R” in our name.
Coaching, assisting and watching others grow is Brian’s passion; some call it team-building. Adult and Adolescent Relational Options for Wellness (AAROW) formed in 2017. I now “operate" AAROW of Idaho pllc.
I love my vocation and love spending quality time with his wife, kids, and grandchildren. He practices his affections most with his two dogs but finds time every day to scratch “Rainbow Sprinkles”, the pet cat named by my granddaughter
